Decisiveness and following your happiness

We all know what we want. Whether or not it is a conscious decision or something hidden in the recess of our minds. But for many, it can be hard admitting and committing to that desire. Learning to allow yourself to follow your intuition and things that enable you to live your life of your dreams can be a hard journey. But it is a necessary one if you are to be happy.

Sometimes it’s as simple as jumping into a course that you are longing to do, or even quitting a job that no longer serves you. Listening to that inner voice and honouring yourself is the single most powerful and loving thing you can do for yourself and for others, because when we live our life authentically and with pure happiness we offer service to those around us.

Here is a small exercise you can utilise when you are feeling trapped in a cycle of self-deprivation:

1) Evaluate what it is that fires you up when you think of it. Usually that is the choice you should make.

2) Write down a list of things that could happen if you take that journey. Next write down a list of things that could happen if you do not.

3) Sit down and imagine a scenario in which you make that decision or change. Does the outcome excite you? If so then it is the right choice!

We hope this helps you in some way, let us know your thoughts!

Good luck.

Much Love,

H+K
