Letting go.

You can only loose what you cling to..jpg

Happy Monday! As we gently roll into another week, full of promise and expectation we wanted to focus on the idea of letting go and “letting the chips fall where they may”.

Learning to embrace an attitude of non-attachment and following the stream of life, wherever it may lead can be a hard lesson. But it is something that can really enable you to truly embrace and enjoy the present moment. Sometimes things don’t go as we plan, but that in itself is a beauty because it allows us to see how life can be when we have less control over the outcome.

A simple way to practice this is through non-reactivity. We often react within an instant of a situation or an event occurring. But sometimes our reactions are not authentic to who we are, and can be exacerbated by a desire or issue with control. So the next time you are faced with an issue, just take a deep breath and pause. Evaluate where you can go, and see whether the outcome itself really is worse than what you had hoped. Often there is a beautiful lesson that we can glean even from something that looks, at first glance, to be a failure.

We hope that this has given you something to ponder going into your work week.

Much love,

H+K
